Default need help on radiator

just ordered a dual electric fan setup, when i went to take the single fan i had on it off, found the plastic clips that hold the fan to the radiator had rubbed 4 little holes in my fairly new radiator. Its not much over a year old and need another. But this is where i need some help. Been doing a lot of research and cant find any aftermarket bolt in radiators more than 1 row. Plan on droping in a 408 some time in the future and it will need something a little wider to keep it cool. So i dont feel much like buying another whimpy replacement. Does anyone know of an aftermarket drop in or if i can take a diesel radiator and radiator support tower and bolt in i would really appreciate it.

I don't know if the v10 and diesel are the same rad or not. But I would think either one would bolt right in.

BTW, the OP needs to add the year of his truck to his profile. They are not all the same.

Have you looked through the "Be Cool" series? I have had great luck with them in GM's.

the V10/Diesel radiator will fit in the hole, but you may have to work out the details of the mounts, rubber flaps, etc.

also - the inlet and outlet pipes are larger, so you'll need to come up with some reducers to adapt your hoses.

if you do this, post up your pics and part numbers for others, as this has been asked a lot, but nobody's ever posted a finished product. this would be great for towing, where our wimpy little one row radiator gets maxed out.

edit - could you use exhaust pipe for reducers? would it have to be stainless, or could it be painted to prevent rust?

edit again - here's the dimensions and specs from one site.
