Default 2.5" leveling kit shock size?

I am installing a 2.5" leveling kit on my truck which is a 2000 Dodge Ram 1500 sport 4x4 ext cab with the 5.2L v8. I need to replace my front shocks because they are bad anyways, Would it be better to go with larger shocks for the leveling kit or can I just stay with stock. How would I go about ordering longer shocks? I have no idea what size is stock to begin with.

I just went with the stock size shocks. I don't think it is really going to change your geometry to much.
