OMG - 3 checkered flags. that means its not only fast, but increases your mpg by unleashing the hidden power and efficiency. and - its only $24. that's not bad for a 50 cent resistor with checkered flags painted on it.
darn those automotive engineers. they develop all that power and then hide it. i wish they'd quit doing that.
The Ultimate Performance Module is the answer to today’s high fuel prices and
all of us looking to squeeze that hidden power and fuel economy out of your engine. Typical gains with our products is a horsepower gain of up to +35 HP, while gaining up to +5 MPG in fuel mileage due to increased engine efficiency!

we loves us some sarcasm..
fix your lower intake manifold gasket...
keep your engine well tuned... use champ coppers, good wires, synthetic oil..
replace your upwind o2 sensor(s) if you haven't at that mileage...
if you wanna drop coin: re-gear to lower gears... if it is a farm truck and doesn't see much highway use, drop all the way to 4.56's or 4.88's.. as counter intuitive as it seems, it actually helps by keeping the engine from loading as much...
try your best to keep your foot out of it..
install an e-fan... parasitic loss of power = more gas applied to get same results..
install roller rockers (1.6:1) .. parasitic loss of power = more gas applied to get same results.. if you go to 1.7:1, chances are you'll lose any gas savings you gained by going to rollers..
hard compound tires properly inflated with less aggressive tread.. the more narrow the better, as more narrow decreases rolling resistance..
the biggest thing to increase mileage: force yourself to change driving habits.. stay off the brake.. anticipate ahead with stops and accelerations..
I was getting near 14MPG overall mileage in my heavy **** half second half third gen QC 4x4, w/ 35x12.5 tires.. but I'm only getting around 12 now because I grew frustrated driving like a snail.. I'll say this and stand by it though: a well tuned engine and driving habits conducive to mileage, all of us should get between 14~17mpg overall.. it is harder for guys who have a lot of hills around as they load the engine a lot more than flatlanders, but if you really want it- you can get it..
