I'm getting ready to fix my dash... The cracks and holes are driving me nuts. And I hate the carpet cover.

Seems the most reasonable route is the cap. Who has done this, and how was ur experience and has it held up? What brand did u use?

 

I bought one online and it's glued up there. Its only held on by two screws and two tubes of silicone. I would suggest getting a high end replacement if you had literally no dash like I did but if it's only little cracks and holes the glue will hold up fine. Mine still doing well after 3 months in FL summer heat!
