I have a 1997 Dodge Ram 1500 sport. My cruise control has not worked at all since I bought the vehicle. The green light will come on but it will not set a speed or maintain. What do yall think could be my problem?

Driving to Texas tomorrow and cruise would be a great helper!

 

there is a vaccum line attached to it and sometimes it will come off. the module is under the battery box. remove the battery and have a look under the box. mine did the same thing and i found the vaccum line was off.
