Exclamation 01 Ram 1500 A/C Problem

Tried turning the AC on this year and it just blows hot air out.
Compressor wasnt running at all, so I replaced the relay and it worked for a few minutes then shut back off.

Now I replaced the relay again, pressure and acummulator switch, and recharged. The compressor came on for about 3 minutes while recharging the system, then as soon as the can of freon was empty it stopped running.

I checked the system and I got a bunch of air coming out of the high side, not sure if that helps..

Any ideas what my problem could be? I'm hoping it's not the compressor as I'm a little broke right now, but was thinking maybe the orifice tube is clogged and it's causing the pressure switch to sense too much pressure and shutting off the compressor?

Any help would be appreciated.

You have air coming out of the high side? Where is it coming out?

purged it out of the high side valve. My last truck the mechanic purged a bunch of air out of the system from the high side valve and it worked perfect after a recharge. This time I got nothin

the compressor wont run unless there is pressure in the system (which is why it ran while recharging). You need to have the system checked for leaks (or do it yourself) because if it wont hold the coolant, you will just constantly be recharging it.

purchase a can with dye in it and see where the leak is in your system.

Cant see any leaks, if i jump the pressure switch on the accumulator the compressor will run. I'm going to try charging it up with another can tonight
