Great looking truck. They're a lot of work (mostly easy but time consuming) but also a lot of fun.

I also have a single cab shortbox and i love my truck. Geared at 3.92 w/ the 5.9 and this fresh plenum fix, it burns rubber now. Although i am in the same boat as you my control arm bushings are shot and my steering is sloppy, very common problem with these trucks.

Check your sway bar links as well, they are easy to replace and cheap. Good luck!

I have almost the same truck. I have a 2 inch leveling kit with 265/75/16 tires and 4.10s and love it. I need to fix my plenum just haven't had time. I am working on a 86 f-250 then when I get it on the road I am going to park my dodge and pull the motor and work on it.

I remember looking to buy my first car. My dad kept pushing me to buy a ram. I had other ideas, bought a 15 year old 86 monte carlo SS.
