oil pressure problem

Default oil pressure problem

howdy my name is taylor and my problem is i was driving home and the cel came on i looked at the gages and my oil pressure drop while decceleration and rose with acceleration i aint never seen this thanks for all replys

First thing to check would be oil level. My best friend had the same thing happen to him and it turns out he was just VERY low on oil.

first thing first, check the CEL light and see what code pops up.

Oil pressure should change with RPMs. Higher RPM= higher oil pressure, but get the Code and be certain.
