Default EVAP hose

I thought I had a fuel leak from the gasket where the fuel pump assembly meets the tank. I reached up there and found the EVAP hose connected to the top of the tank but not to anything else. Is this suppose to be that way? I found a diagram of the EVAP hose routing on the dakota, and it has the evap hose connected to a line that runs all the way to the engine bay.
Anyways, I think this is my leak, considering it only leaks when the tank is full.

Thanks

Default RE: EVAP hose

reason why it leaks when your full is because the fuel is plashing around when driving, your emission line could have come off the charcoal canister thats by the gas tank, it should look like a black round cylinder.
Hope this helps

There should not be an open hose. EVAP canister is on pass side under cab.
