serpentine belt options 5.9 v8

1997 2500 5.9 v8 with ac. Compressor has failed and want to find p/n of a belt that works for by-passing the compressor. Dayco p/n 5070885 does not work.(5070885 is for 5.9 without ac)

I don't know then. I replaced mine but didn't try to get one to bypass the compressor so I can't help you.

I found one that would work. I used a belt that was 905 cm.

take a string that DOES NOT stretch and go around your pulleys, tie it off then go to the auto parts store. They have a guage to measure belt lengths. It will tell you what you need.
