So no problems since I have had the truck pulled a 30greasy ft. 7k pond camper a few times with no major issues and now I was running around town still running fine I floored it to get out into tragic wot only through first gear ans let off nothing right away pulled into my driveway about 2 minutes later and its iddleing rough and the rpm is between 1200 and 900 back and forth. Turned it off and when I went to start it this morning it was still iddeling like crap and the cell is on pulled the code and I got p308 cylinder 8 misfire what would cause this and how do I fix it thanks

 

Oh and not a 30greasy ft trailer but a 30 ft trailer lol not sure why my phone did that

The seller said the cat has ben gutted could it be the plenum and a bad 02 sensor

 

Yea, or a cracked head if the cat wasn't gutted soon enough.

 

How can u tell if the head is cracked id rather find that out first before I replace the plenum gasket

 

Compression and /or leak down test.

 

I duble check my intake took the air box off and seems to be alot of oil in the intake so im hoping fixing the plenum will solve the issue

 

The cat will most likely be clogged too, and replace the front o2 sensor also.
