That's the same one I have on my rig. As for cat back system, I got mine for $30 from the bone yard. Are you in living in Cali or do you just one of those poor souls (I say that 'cause it's a PITA to find parts) who own's a Cali emissions rig?

yes I live here :/ I think the state trys to use the money from emissions tests to try and pay back some debt haha. I have the old cat but I tihnk it would be best just get a new one and new pipes seeing as the old one rusted and broke off after the muffler right by the spare tire :/

I think the Cali trucks have like 5 cats or something.
Like 2 mini-cats per bank and one HD cat.

There was a change somewhere around '98~'00.. mine is a '02, and had three.. two pre cats and a cat.. four o2 sensors.. the big cat isn't monitored.. only the pre cats are.. go figure.. this makes going true dual a breeze.

Wow.
That sounds pretty counterproductive to what Cali was trying to do.

Yup, but I don't mind at all.. the precats are not cheap, so I left them alone.. the big unmonitored cat got lost somewhere along the way, and was replaced with two high flows (one for each bank).. put a magnaflow true x muffler in and whallah- true duals.. well, crossovered duals..
