Default Tires

I own an 2500 with 31" x 11" tires and if you make a harder slow down, they tend to jerk slightly to one side or the other... im curious to know what causes that and its not the easiest thing to deal with cause i have slack in turning my steering wheel... so give me some thoughts. haha

Check the conditions of your brakes. Such as uneven wear, warped rotors, sticking calipers. Take some brake cleaner to every thing. Also you can try bleeding the system the right way, start from the wheel furthest from the MC and do the front drivers side last.

Also you could check things like ball joints and u-joints and other steering components, but I would be willing to bet it is a front brake issue.

Hmm, i always thought it had to do with tire alignment cause when driving, the tires want to wander to the right... but usually when slowing down, the wanna go left

The wondering while driving could be because of poor alignment, it could also be from the way a lot of roads are paved, a lot are crowned with a higher center to help with drainage. Get you alignment checked that can also help with play in the wheel, it did with my truck, I went from about 3" plus sided to side to less than a half inch. Your original post only stated while braking. If you pull one way or another while braking, even with good alignment you need to check your brakes.
