its everything aroudn the engine that has to come off to get to it. its tucked back there pretty good. im going to get at it this coming week, maybe im wrong and it will be easier to get at
ok, just watched the vid in the plenum sticky. dont have to remove as much as i thoght. even less, seeing as i dont have AV. im gonna order the plenum plate monday orning, and bolts, and tstat. will check cat before i take it in too. ill try to remember to update this thread witht he results. ill take pics if anything is different than what i saw in teh faq. being a v6 and all
im in canada, shop takes care of warranty. hopefully they can get it replaced. the stock one i replaced years ago. chrysler later sent me a cheque to cover that cost
oh, ive already changed the PCV valve, a few weeks back. checked under the hood and dont see any sign of havign the death flash, as expected, its a 96. is there anything else someone may be able to suggest? i think ive got my bases covered now.
just called hughesengines.com and ordered plenum kit, intake bolts, and a 180 tstat. if anyone from canada is calling, make note that there is no toll free number. however, call was less than a minute, all parts in stock, and being shipped out this afternoon. compare that the the service i got from LMC truck and its night and day. thumbs up
Plenum fix fail. the intake itaelf is broken. lost the drivers side rear corner. would leave a coolant duxt open on the engine. so now im looking for an intake. went to the local moparfeat. nothing for the v6. V8 ones were only 65 tho. ill find something this week
