Curious as I have access to a nice gen-3 wheel. My leather is all gone.

Why not just put a cover on your wheel?

I've heard of guys doing it before, but its pretty much a custom job, not easy.

Just pull another out of a 2nd gen, direct fit. I got mine out of a Dakota.

id swap one in. i wanna swap a whole 3rd gen dash and steering wheel. i think the 3rd gens interior looks badass. i love em. but thats a future project.

I paid $25 bucks for mine outta a pick-n-pull. If you need one that bad get that while you collect the parts for your swap.
