2 weeks ago the pass side door on my 01 2500 got bent back pretty good by a trailer when it was open. I went and bought a replacement door and hinge set at a junkyard off i believe a 97 1500. the wiring for the power windows,radio speaker and locks is different from the original door.And i was told that the 1500 door will not fit a reg cab 2500 i need some help here any help is appreciated.

As long as they are both regular cabs it will fit.
