I was looking at these lights for my 1997 Dodge ram 1500 sport.
but I had emailed them about these lights fitting on my truck, the person said they wont fit on a sport. So my question is whats the difference in lights on a standard long bed ram that is the same year over the sport package, besides the sport being smaller?

In 97 there was no difference in the head lights from a non sport and sport.
99-01 they were a difference, the sport had quad lights.

 

that is what I thought, but I also thought maybe I was missing something. lol hmmm ok, so the person doesnt know what they were talking about then?

I have the 99-01 sport headlights in my 96 and they fit like the original.
Could be they say that because of the difference in the wiring which is the sport models those years have 4 plugs for the bulbs instead of 2.

 

Those headlights have no adjustment screws for aiming them (alignment). I used to have the chrome version. They look awesome, but they are worse than stock for actual visibility at night.
