Also, there could be pinholes in the heater core. Mine did and there were no signs of coolant coming from the drain.

I am guessing moisture under the passenger side carpet is a sign of the heater core crapping out on me? The only other thing I can think of is that my windshield leaks and it is left over from rain, as it doesn't have a antifreeze/glycol smell to it.

The third brake light is also a common place for a leak.

Get the truck warmed up and then turn on the defroster. If some kind of haze forms with a slight sweet stench, it's the heater core.

If you use the AC, the drain tube also has a tendency to get clogged with debris.

To burp the system you just take the radiator cap off and let it idle for a few (5) minutes. right??? And side note where is the timing chain located at normally.

As far as burping the system goes, this can be found in the FAQ section that is worth looking through. Only thing that should be added to it, is getting the right front up as high as you can. https://dodgeforum.com/forum/2nd-gen...nt-system.html

And, I could be wrong, but I think the timing chain is on the front of the motor. A Haynes manual or the free service manual download(which is also located in the FAQ section) might help.

You don't have to search, just look through the whole FAQ/DIY section. There is tons of info in there.
