Default Loud buzzing...

Few years ago when i was driving home from work the buzzer went off while i was driving. It was very loud and annoying so when i got home i took out the fuse which made it stop, but when i pulled that fuse it made the overhead console stop working and the o/d light. The o/d still works just the light to indicate whether it's on or off doesn't turn on.

Anyways...I was wondering if anyone has had this problem? And what they did the fix it.

No. The buzzer stays on when you turn the truck on. It's the buzzer for when you leave the lights on when you shut the truck off.

Lactate the buzzer and remove it if you can't figure out what's making it happen.

Check/replace the door jamb switches. Does the dome light work?

My door jam switch was stronger then the sheet metal on mine and had dented it in causing it to buzz when i drove on the freeway randomly. First i used adhesive foam tape, then after adding a couple layers i said screw it and used a sheet metal screw where the buzzer hits the door to beef it up and viola no problem.

Dome lights work. I'll have to mess with the door jam switch. Thanks for the advice.

Don't mess with them, replace them. They are cheap even if it's not the problem. At least they will be eliminated as the problem.

I've been super busy with work, but i checked it out real quick and the driver door has a small dent where the door jam switch is supposed to hit. So when the door is closed the buzzer must stay on. It should be a very easy fix. Thanks for the help guys
