It sounds electrical to me too.

Another thing to be suspicious of besides coil itself is the coil wire and other ignition parts. I once had an old Ford that started dying only after it was warmed up. Just wouldn't run when warm, dead. As soon as you let it cool down it ran like a champ. Turned out being the coil wire. Troubleshooting that one was fun.
