Default Loud spinning noise in the morning

I am slowly addressing the problems my truck is having since I bought it, but I am still stumped on the noise coming from what seems like the tranny/oil pan area. Every morning when I start it, it immediately begins the noise while idling in park. The noise is a loud spinning sound, which is easily heard over the engine/loud muffler, but is very constistant. It is not a grinding, and slightly gets louder if I press the gas. It does it no matter how long it idles, and lasts for about a mile or so. After that, there is NO noise all day, no matter how long it sits before I start it again that day. If I put my ear almost to the oil pan, it seems to be coming from there, but it is really hard to say. It has done this pretty much since I bought it, but has not gotten worse. I am having the plenum gasket fixed next week, so I will have an opportunity to have the mechanic listen to it in the morning, but I have a feeling I will be dealing with this issue myself. Thanks for any ideas.

P.S. I did change the tranny fluid/filter, and it didn't change.

Mine does the same thing, it's the belt or a pulley. Don't worry about it(I don't) until something seizes up.LOL Then you'll know what it is. Keep an extra belt with you like I do.
