Default muffler help

hey guys my flowmaster 10 series i bought about 5 months ago has cracked...literally. i want to get another 10 series, but im going with a si/so this time, getting rid of the duals and putting the stock tail pipe back on.

i know there are 10 series knock offs out there, but i cant remember the name of them.

anyone have a knock off 10 series, that would like to tell me where they got it?

everything seems to happen to my truck around inspection time........

That does not bode very well for the Flowmasters. Why are you both going back to si/so? The duals look so good out the back end. Was it a drop in torque or something else?

Si/so sounds a lot deeper and better than being split by a muffler

same for me, and i dont have the money to keep replacing exhaust parts. this is the 2nd muffler to break with this setup. plus i keep having hanger break because of the piipe hitting my leaf springs.

i knew about the cherry bomb extreme, but there are other knock offs out there that cost about 30 bucks compared to flowmasters 60+.

Here is where where spending a lot of money on a stainless steel system comes into play. Spend a less amount of cash over a period of time replacing the junk steel every sells, or spend more at first and don't worry about it again. I know it's expensive, and I don't have the cash all at once either. It sucks.

I love my si/so magnaflow XL with 3" pipe and 18x4 tip. I agree that the sound is a lot deeper and throatier. Before the magnaflow I had a flowmaster knockoff made by a company named XLERATOR, but found that it would go completely quiet when I got up above 2000rpm, which if I'm putting an aftermarket I want it to make some noise when I step on it.

im looking at the flowmaster outlaw just because it is a "glasspack" without the glass. its a drag racing muffler and its pretty loud!
