cel for map voltage too hi
Good luck! I had changed my battery in my truck a week before DEQ... and I failed the first two tests because not all the monitor were ready. You may have to google "ODB2 Drive Cycle" if you are in a hurry to get those monitors in the ready state.
i do not know why i am getting a lean condition cel. it is running PIG rich. black smoke and the smell of fuel are blatant.
i replaced the map to no avail. what is causing the computer to beleive that there is a lean fuel condition when in reality it is dumping WAY too much fuel?
its favorite time to stall is when its fully warmed up with the a/c running at idle and you blip the throttle just a touch, then it just dies.
when coming to an idle after running down the road, the rpms get low but not quite low enough to cut off, it almost always rebounds.

jumping in this late... but here are your options for rich:
the pcm can only control a small parameter of fuel curve at the injector.. the injectors may be dumping at a silly high duty rate in effort to feed what it thinks is lean condition..
the engine will think it's running lean (and therefor dump more fuel) if:
-the o2 sensor(s) are lying to it.. most likely culprit, it could be burned up, fouled, or even obstructed...
-the coolant temperature is lying to it.. it thinks it's cooler than it is and is adding fuel to allow more positive ignition of the a/f mix..
-the IAT sensor is lying to it.. it thinks it's cooler than it is, and is dumping fuel for the same reason the coolant temperature does..
My guess is your o2 is jacked up (burned up, fouled, or obstructed), or you have a significant exhaust leak prior to the upwind o2 sensor.. your pig rich because the other sensors ARE working right, and trying to make up for it.
