Default Upgrade to Which Gibson Cat-Back Exhaust?

So I was looking at the different exhaust systems for my 1997 Dodge 2wd and Im considering these two, the Gibson 6600 dual sport cat-back, and the Gibson 66510 super truck cat-back system. Im mainly looking to help the performance of my truck prefferably in terms of mpg. Has anyone had any experience with these two systems that can shed some light?

Thanks in advance

I'd settle for an American Thunder kit from Flowmaster, because in terms of gas mileage, with a cat back system, you ain't gonna see jack for better mileage.

id go with a magnaflow, or cherrybomb kit, flowmasters suck! had a 10 series on my truck, and being less than 6-8 months old it cracked at the welds on the inlet, muffler is destroyed. went back to my stock exhaust with a glassless glasspack, and a gutted cat, couldnt ask for a better sound!

Flowmaster 40 series! My ears hurt sometimes and I still gotta upgrade the crappy y pipe and cat.

My flowmasters have lasted 6 years of high mileage abuse. Well except when that one tailpipe just fell of the truck, but anyway the muffler is still solid!

Flowmasters absolutely suck! Their flow rate sucks and there mufflers are junk just as stated in my previous post. Do some search on flowmaster and you will find put just how bad they are. I jumped 1.5 mpg by just taking my flowmaster 10 series off and putting my stock exhaust back on. My exhaust consists of a gutted cat and a glassless glasspack. Im now getting 11.5 mph with a blown plenum and 285/75's on her. But its up the the op. He asked for reviews on Gibson. Never dealt with them on my truck but my neighbor has a Gibson catback on his chevy with shorty headers its quiet but it has a good sound to it.

According to Gibson's web site, the Swept Side is their "Best kit for Fuel Economy gains". It's a good low-to-mid RPM system, and it's in the low to mid ranges that a street driven engine spends most of its time. I've got the Swept Side Single on my (4x4, 5.9l) truck (stock manifolds, Magnaflow direct fit cat) and like it just fine. On a recent trip when I managed to catch a long stretch of flat ground with no wind and a 65MPH speed limit, I recorded just shy of 16MPG with my StuporChip set for the towing tune and my truck grossing close to 6400 lbs.

I predict that if you go with one of the two you mentioned you'll like the sound but will be disappointed in your fuel economy. I could be wrong...
