Seat belt locked??
There's a harness down by the drivers left foot that is wired in for the seatbelts the speakers windows and locks and I wanna say something else too but I can't recall what .. it was I believe white and was locked in by like a rocker connection .. that fixed my truck when I bumped it once and it came loose
Figured it out. Traced some wires and spliced the right ones together. Fixed it.. Thank god. It was the pink wire that was the constant for the harness under seat. Now I just need to fix my power locks and fix the crooked window and I'll be done
Wow. As I could not find it in the wiring diagram AND I have never seen a set up like this, I was sure OP was on the wrong track..I stand corrected, and a little more knowleddeable about Rams. Very interesting read on the old thread.
I thought there might be some sort of solenoid in the mechanism that locks it out when you've been in a accident, but wasn't sure. I read that somewhere. I do know from personal experience, there is something electrical that locks them up because when I got in an accident in the ol' company pickup, there was a seatbelt unlocking fee on the invoice from the body shop. They said when you get in an accident they stay locked. That was on a Ford F-150 though. O yeah, and don't forget to turn that passenger side airbag off if you always ride solo. Ask me how I know that...let's just say it too was on the invoice from the body shop....
That's why.
I don't think they like working on the old second gens too much.
Have you got anything stashed under the seat that may have broken it? Wondering if it may happen again if you have something under there.
BTW, crooked window? I thought only Chevy's had that problem.
