governer pressure sensor?

Default governer pressure sensor?

I own a 5.2L ram 2 wheel drive. My check engine light poped up. governer presser sensor.
Does any body know the location
of the sensor? How to change it? I would appreciate the info!!

tranny shop offered $250 for the job but I want to do it myself.

I think you have to drop the pan to get to it. I have a manual and a quick look at it sucks... I cant find it in there at all... is there another name for it?

Yup, you have to drop the tranny pan. The sensor is actually located on the tranny valve body, but I don't remember if you need to remove the valve body or not to replace it. Even if you need to drop the valve body, it's pretty easy to do, but it takes a bit more time.
