Default Gears ??????

Ok so my 4.56 gears and install kits are on the way. I am going to be purchasing my 5" lift and 35's soon, but I am currently running 285's. If I go ahead and install my gears what would that do to my mpg since I am running 285's still ?

Honestly I haven't found much that changed my gas mileage, I've changed to all synthetic gear oils (front, rear axles, and actual oil) and nothing happened. I've changed my cap and rotor which were horrible, nothing. I didnt even put the ignition wire on all the way, it was just sitting on top and short of a little vibration at idle, no gas mileage change. I know these aren't big things but nothing has happened lol
