Question 46rh shifting issues

A few months ago i purchased a 95 ram and it has developed some shifting issues. At first it didnt want to go into reverse unless i gave it a bit of throttle and it didnt want to shift to 3rd unless i would run the rpms up and then drop the throttle. The reverse problem solved itself but a few days of driving later the trans would not shift itself back to 1st when i came to a stop. I have pulled the valve body, cleaned it and installed a transgo reprogram kit, adjusted bands and tv cable several times, pulled the od unit and inspected the governor and cleaned the gov tubes. The trans looks to have been built recently because the bands and clutches look great and overall the trans is clean. I have changed the solenoids and went as far as pulling the valve body from my 93 46rh and trying it in the 95. It shifted real soft and the shifting back to first issue was hit or miss. The 93 vb does not have the boost tube where the 95 does. I also pulled the servos to inspect and found no problems or wear in the bores. If anyone has experienced this or can explain what actions the trans takes to shift back to first when u come to a stop i would appreciate it. I am tired of buying ATF+4 and I am ready to set the truck on FIRE!!!

Go the the FAQ/DIY section and download the service manual. The transmission section is pretty good for diagnostics. Can't help more than that, mine is a 46re.
