Default Problem With Vacuum Leak

I have a '98 Ram 2500 with the 5.9L engine. I discovered a vacuum leak the other day but I can't figure out where it's supposed to go. The vacuum comes off the intake then T's off and one end goes into the firewall. The other end goes to another T and goes to a black box on my passenger side wheel well. The other side of that T just had laid on my header and melted. I have looked all over the forum here and I looked under my hood and can't find where that other end connected to. All the vacuum diagrams show is a line coming off the intake and going into the firewall. I don't know if this is stock or if the previous owner had their fingers in it. I don't even know what that box on the wheel well does. Please help me out.

You should post some pics. And isn't there a diagram on the radiator support? That might be the Purge Solenoid on the pass. fender well.

Edit, thanks for the pics.

It appears that you have an LDP = Leak Detection Pump. Which was equipped on the HD version of the 360. The black box is a remote filter. Or the combined canister.
