P1494 Leak Detection Pump Switch or Mechanical Fault?

Is this a fuel pump issue? if not does anyone know what it would be?

My mpg isn't to great.

Not fuel pump issue. Emissions sytems issue.

Have you downloaded service manual from FAQ/DIY ssection. Should be info there.
