Default Mixing tires with different load ranges?

I got a sweet deal on 4 used BFG AT's. 2 of them are D's and 2 are E's. Where would you put them on the truck. D's up front, E's in the back? I rarely tow, and if I do it's a small 4x5 trailer. Opinions?

Also, I'm assuming should not mix them up on the truck as far as rotating goes. Am I correct?

Thanks
C-

I have no direct experience, but as long as you keep them paired front/rear. Don't mix front to back. The E's, I would expect will be stiffer unless I have that backwards.

As I understand it, D's are 8 ply and E's are 10, so E's should be stiffer. I figured I'd put the E's on the back, but I am wondering if it would be more comfortable with them on the front under the weight of the motor.

Put the e's in the back in case you ever haul/tow anything. The sidewall difference between a d and e wont really matter much for the front tires.

Keep the E's in the back, your ride will be better and if you have that urge to tow to much for your truck you will know the tires will handle it

I put the E's on the back.
