hello;

will the older style transfer cases, ie: '78-87 fit the '97 46RE auto trans?

yes i know that will put the front driveshaft output at the wrong side of the vehicle, but i am looking at putting my cab and body, as well as engine/trans on an older style frame that has a real front housing, but those used spring leafs not the newer style...

so i need to know if the transfer case will fit my trans or if i will havta buy or if anyone even makes an adapter to make it work.
