I have a 1999 quad cab 1500 and my rear speakers do not work. I have changed the factory radio/cd to an after market unit and still no sound.
I believe these trucks have a factory amp somewhere. Any idea on the easiest way to find it to see if the wiring problem is there or somewhere between there and the rear speakers.
Any help would be great.

 

No factory amp. Speakers in door. Probably wiring at speaker or under dash. You can download service manual in the FAQ/DIY section and go to elcetrical. Wirring color colors are identified there.
