Power Steering Pump Removal Question
I'm being a good boy and following the manual (part of the problem with this question is the time, 1:30 AM here). I've removed the serpentine belt, and getting ready to remove the hoses from the pump, and had this question. On this step :
What fittings am I capping exactly? Am I capping the hoses or am I capping something at the pump, so when I spin it around it doesn't puke massively. If so, what should I use to plug it, I imagine a paper towel won't suffice..
Its probably a newbie question but it is late so I'm not thinking clearing (also no rush).
Thanks!

You use some rubber vacuum plugs or plastic caps of the appropriate sizes. And yes, it's just so the fluid doesn't pour out of the pump and hoses. If you have the new pump, it should have a couple on it for the pump anyway.
