I have a 2001 Ram Sport. I've seen taillight housing that say all Trim except Sport. Or NOT SPORT. These don't seem to indicate one way or the other.

So my questions are: a) What are the differences in tail lights between non-sport trim and sport trim.

And b) would the attached tail lights work for my Ram Sport?

I cant pull up the taillights because im in school and its blocked but i have a sport and i have aftermarket regular taillights on it with no problem. The only difference with sports is the front of the truck like headlights and the front bumper...

 

I believe the only difference between sport and non-sport taillights is the black surround. Sport is smooth for color match and non is textured. Other than that I think there is no difference.

 

Shouldn't you be doing schoolwork instead of being on here then?

 

Anyone please correct me if Im wrong...Sport trim used a "shiny" black plastic or body colour housing, where the non sport plastic was slightly textured....that was the way it was put to me when I ordered new tail lights.

 

Uhhhhh yeah i guess but i would much rather talk about dodges than school work haha
