Whistling air box/ KN vs $$
Hey even sense i bought the truck ive had a whislting that i belive is coming from the airbox. im pretty sure that its cause of a "bad" seal so i was thinking of
A. Buy a KN drop in and possibly add something like attic door insulation strips "its what we have no idea if thats what its called just small strips or foam with tape on one side"
B. Buy a KN FIPK.....i havnt even priced em out but from what i recalll its like 225$ or so vs just 45$ for the dropp in......i think the performance gains are going to be so small from either that , that shouldnt even be a factor in the desicion so its basicly how crappy is the stock Air box and is it worth the Extra cash?
Option A or B???
If anyones done and dropp in or the FIPK id like to know what they thought about whether it was worth it.
