All though the balancing may be an easy way to tell I dont know **** to tell if its balanced inside or out

 

360 is 5.9
318 is 5.2

 

Ok Thank you I have a 318 I wasnt sure if it was a 360 or a 318 but I knew it was a 5.2

 

The 318 is a good motor. My pop in law's got one in his '88 RamCharger, still going strong.

 

I liked the 318 in this dakota way more then the 360 in my old half ton, it was probably the lightness of the dakota but the 318 actually had some snap

 

I'm thinkin I read on here somewhere that the 318 has a beefier cam then the 360, but the 360 is supposed to make up for that with displacement. Something like that anyway...

 

idk i bought her with 3 year old gas in the system, dumped in a can of seafoam, and drove it a while to see if any seal wanted to leak, then decided why the hell not try some burnouts, she powerbrakes really easy, course one wheel wonder so its only gota spin one, to bad the tranny was slipping really nice truck to beat around in, in really tuff shape though all around
