Default Odd noise, could really use some help.

I have a 1998 crew cab ram 1500, When I start it up more often than not I can here almost a gargling noise. When I climb under the truck it sounds like its coming straight from the transmission. Fluid is clean, shifts great. Any ideas? To me I thought it could be the tranny pump going out

Thank you for viewing

Sounds like you need to burp the cooling system. Do you here the noise in the truck on the right side of the dash?

Not the OP but yes, I hear that there., and only when the engine is cool.

How do you burp the system?

I had good luck burping my system, by pulling the passenger front tire up onto a car ramp, (so the radiator cap is the highest point of the cooling system), and then running the truck with the cap off for about 20 minutes. Could watch the bubbles coming up. Then once the t-stat opened and the level dropped, filled it back up to the top. Stuck the cap on, and called it good. Haven't had a problem yet.

Note: if you drive the truck around a while, before deciding to pull it up onto the car ramp. Do not open the radiator cap while hot. Most peeps should know this, but thought i'd clarify. Hot coolant/ steam burns hurt.

+1, here is the DF DIY , only thing missing is the raising of the passenger side front.

I can definitely hear something inside the cab, Not sure if its on the dash side or not- Like I say I crawl under it and it sounds like its coming straight from the valve body on the transmission. I didn't even think of the cooling system I'll look into that. Thanks for your experience!
