I don't think the guages on this truck are terribly accurate, but it kept worrying me to see my temp guage over the halfway mark, when in every other vehicle I've had, it never gets to the half point.
The t-stat wasn't hard to do, and I don't know when the coolant was last changed out, so I took the opportunity to do that as well. the old coolant didn't look bad, but I like having a baseline for the maintenance.
