Default 5W-30 on accident....

So anyway...I just did an oil change and realized afterwards that I used 5W-30 instead of the usual 10W-30 I always use....Should I notice any differences? Going into winter now (Chicago winter)...what are the pros or cons to this mistake?

Don't think you will notice anything. You're talking about 5W difference - pretty minimal.

it is probably better to use 5w30 since winter is getting closer. i always use 5w30 in my engine and it still runs. it is good for lower temperatures.

For winter months, the 5W-30 will flow a little better at startup, you'll be fine...
