so my CEL came on tonight... with the code P0455 anyone know what that is

That's a purge system problem, most often just a broken vacuum line or a failed gas cap.

i did get gas today... i double checked gas cap seems tight but i know the seals do wear out... as far as it having a CEL it won't make it run bad or anything will it ?

No., some claim it will affect mpg, but many have driven with codes for that fire a long time.

The worst part about it that I can see is that if your get another more pressing cel your might not notice it cause you'll assume that it is the same evap code.

well each time my CEL comes on i check it. i pull over and do the key trick... i've had it come on before i does it like once every 3 months i get the P0455 so i figured i'd ask about it since it keeps happening.

well i'm just not gonna worry about it then.. thanks for the advice
