4.10 gears are not too much for stock tires since 4.10 is what the "off road" package rams have.
Hey, I took a 4th Gen in the first 200 meters by 1.5 truck lengths....

I eat 90's models cheby's and gmc's all the time. Ive beat quit a few z71 tahoes and such as well, the 5.3 ones. As far as chevys having a better head design than dodge, i would like to know what all you are refering to. Ive read numerous articles saying that they are more superior in quite a few ways to chevys. As far as the newer chevy engines go, Ill take the hemi and blow the doors off the same 5.3 the OP lost to. Its not that hard to get these motors to put out. Now the 6.0 chevy in the hd's are bad, but if dodge would put the 6.1 hemi in a truck itd be bad *** as well.

We have the added satisfaction of watching our trucks running & pulling real loads LONG after the speed rusting GM's have dissolved into a pile of aftermarket chrome stickers and broken dreams. If you follow the sticky's for performance on the intake & exhaust, you will notice stuff you like. If you do a cam swap, even better. New high flowing heads? Intake? Even better. Not for your wallet, but hey - your FAST! lol Try to remember that road rage starts at times like this. Let the kid in the shimmy catch the eye of the speed trap & laugh privately & how much more mature you are.

what does "the first 200 meters" mean? You were winning then eventually lost?

Besides, I would only believe that if he didn't know he was racing

If the run was only 200 meters, then YES I get the After the 200 meters he brought it even.

Not that it's needed to elaborate, but I'll indulge b/c you are a great contributor here and the stories are fun.

It was dual stop sign. He pulled up on the right on purpose with a grunt. We both stopped same time and pulled off the same time. Yes...it just happened that the timing of the intersection worked for us. He did know and upon passing me, with a lane change, gave me a wave.

Doesn't really matter what any of us believe here. Rationalization wins every time!!
