Default Violent shake under load

95 dodge 1500 5.9L (360)

I am having trouble diagnosing my brothers truck. he did a full tune up, plugs, wires, ignition coil, ect. the truck has no get up like it did six months ago, can't even spin the tires on dirt. when the truck hits overdrive on the highway, it starts to shake bad, it also shakes like its missing in several cylinders at idol, when its in drive and you are stopped(its an automatic trans). i know the trans is ok, cuz it has had a full rebuild by a trans shop, new torque converter and over drive unit. i have no codes set. the compression check showed slight variation between cylinders but nothing extreme, leakdown test came back with nothing over 40% leakage wich is bad but not bad enough to cause this issue. im not very knowledgeable when it comes to these trucks so im asking for some input from people who are.

Sounds like you may have a couple of plug wires crossed. What type of plugs did you install and what did you gap them at? .040 is required.

Did you route the wires per the TSB?

I would go plenum if it has not been replaced.

My 99 2500 shook like crazy and had a big lack of power.

Have you monitored the oil level at all, if its using oil or smoking at start up its a plenum.
