Default fuel pressure

Ok i was ripping out my intake for a plenum repair, but when i got ready to discharge the fuel line, zero pressure came out. this now tells me why the truck has a problem starting, what should i check because there is no pressure.

Only a couple things could be wrong. Fuel pump, leak in fuel line, or leaky injector.

How long had your battery been disconnected?

I have a master cut off switch, because the truck will drain my battery dead, in a few days

I would track that down as well. That shuts off PCM every time so it ahs to relearn everything each time you crank it up.

If power was off for quite a while, then a gradual leak down of pfuel pressure may not be a problem. But then again, if the battery drain is caused by fuel pump staying on....

byronpen ! You have too many threads going and it's making it hard to keep track of your issue's. Please keep it to one thread. When you are done with the plenum, buy a $15 fuel pressure tester so you can figure out what the hell is going on with the pressure. Most likely the regulator is bad if the pressure drops too quick after shut down.

And I agree about finding what is draining the battery. PCM reset everytime you start it. Not to mention the huge band aid that is. Could be as simple as the glove box light staying on when it's closed.
