HID light help..
Hey guys.. I have a 1998 dodge ram pickup club cab. I want to put HID headlights on it but I'm not quite sure if I need to buy a cancellor or not. I know some of the newer dodges have a "CANBUS" system. Does my truck have it or can I just buy a 9004 kit and just plug and play like everyone else? I also want to put HID's in my fog lamps too.. I can't find a "893" bulb type kit. Is there a substitute or anything I can do?

As you can see there others have had the fog lights melt from the HID lights... Prepare to get a lot of angry looks and high beams flashed at you if your using the stock frosted lenses. being high off the ground makes you twice as dangerous to others as the kids with the low rider clunkers setup this way plus most of them dont have textured glass lenses... They suck for HID lights period.

ill double what everyone says. 9004 will work but stock lenses arent wonderful. i get flipped off nightly with mine lol. and it is 'burning' my lenses. they had no yellowing to them when i installed them now, 4 months later is like they have aged 3 or 4 years.
