And I love it. I didn't think it felt bad before the tranny puked, but man it feels so tight and shifts so smoothly now. Big difference. I'm psyched. As a bonus, the shop fixed my 4wd. I hadn't had the time to figure out why it quit working yet, but they said it was just a vacuum line. Didn't charge me for that. I haven't had time to really look at the list of parts they replaced during the rebuild, but it's pretty long. They put in a HD converter, but I was in a hurry and forgot to ask about the specifics. I am curious to know the brand they used.

If this truck keeps running so well, I might do something crazy like fix the rotted rockers.

 

Congrats!! These trucks will run forever if you take care of them.... That 318 is damn near bullet proof also.
