Went to my local salvage yard, they had a truck like mine, but a 96 model instead, non-sport package regular cab like mine, but the rear bottom of the door was squared off, mine is rounded at the bottom. If any of you guys know of a drivers door that will work for me for sale, please tell me. I am having a hard time finding 1.

I gotta say kejobe is exactly correct. I have been through over a dozen salvage yards looking to buy a door from 1500's from 1995 to 2001. Many have squared corners on the rear bottom just like you said & mine has a curve there instead. I have even seen the rear lower square corner doors on regular cabs too which is frustrating. I just need a new door. The entire leading edge on mine is peeled way back from some drunken hijinks by the PO. At highway speeds it tries to peel the door outward, slightly slamming the leading edge back & fourth against the body. I cant install nice new speakers until I fix it or they will get wet & short out like the last ones did. Oh bother.

Just keep hittin up the JYs until you find one. Unless of course you want to spend $500 on a new one, plus the cost of paint.

Additional hole behind headlight to access the high beam bulb. I believe thats it. It will bolt up and work on a non-sport with no problem.

its not just the sport model..its all 99-01 rams that have the larger cut out...if you do not have a sport model 94-01 fenders will work for you..if you do have the sport model your limited to 99-01 unless you want to do some cutting

You can put a door skin on if the door frame isn't jacked up. Check C2Cfabrications.com.

what causes you to have to cut the opening bigger, like is the mounting hardware or such that hits?

Kinda suck being stuck to those 3 years if ya got a sport for such a small thing lol, that is if you dont wanna cut on it.

My door frame is totally jacked. The leading edge of the door was peeled back in a low speed drunken affair with the PO. There is no saving the door except for the interior panel & glass & handle. I will try to post a pic sometime, it is good for cheap laughs.
