Default Wheels?

I have an 01' dodge ram 1500 4x4. I have been thinking about getting different wheels. I want to go with a 15x8 wheel but most of the tires shops tell me that the 15x8 may rub the calipers. I have tested one brand of 15x8 wheels and didn't have any interference issues with them. They were close but did not rub the caliper. I was wondering how many people were running 15" and if anyone has had a problem with them rubbing on the calipers?

Some 15" wheels MAY rub. The 2nd gen. Ram didn't come with anything smaller than a 16" rim...even the cheap steelies where 16s.

Default RE: Wheels?

I have 15" wheels on mine and for some strange reason it only rubs on the left side, pretty bad, doesn't matter which wheel was on there it would rub, I think the brand of wheel is Modern??. I took a grinder and removed some material from the caliper until it quit rubbing and haven't had any problems so far. I actually don't really like the 15" wheels though, I have 35's mounted on them and it is a little more bouncy than I like, I should have gotten some 17's I guess. Live and learn...
