Hey guys just need to ask a question. I got that new ram so I have not been driving my 95 much and when I leave it sit for about a 1 1/2 -2 weeks the battery is dead. I know there are some things that use power when the truck is not running. But I was just wondering how long you guys can leave your truck sit and it still start up.
mines a 97 and during the late spring-late fall (or when snow decides to fall) my truck sits and its had the same battery in it for over 5 years now. starts up everytime and never had a problem with it dying.... knock on wood
Could it be that you got a device draining your battery? Either that or the electrolyte in the battery could be breaking down. Also when the electrolyte breaks down, Lead Sulfate crystals form on the inner poles.
well the battery cant be more than 1-1/2 years old but it was cold for about 3 weeks. I disconnected it and charged it up. I will leave it unhooked and see how long it lasts
