Default Colours (Yes, with a u! I'm a Canuck!)

Looking at replacing two broken interior parts (actually, three, but only two are of concern)... I've found them both on eBay and what I think is a decent price when compared to ordering from a Dodge dealership.

The issue is I am not sure what COLOUR my parts technically are. I'll attach two pictures. The first part is the cup holder. That dumped out from under a beverage before I went on vacation... about 20 minutes before.

The other is the sunglasses holder in the upper console.

Here are the ebay links. The colour for the cup holder in the bid is "AGATE" ... looks like a dark grey. The others I saw were a light grey, so I am thinking this one is good to go?

And here is the link for the sunglasses holder. Again, this looks pretty good but as I don't know the various interior colours available... just want a more seasoned person to say "Yep. Buy it."

Also managed to find a Turn Signal Switch on ebay... I think that is the problem with my wipers anyways. They just seem to randomly stop half way up the window. I turn the delay device and they kick up again... then randomly stop. Usually half way up. 3 clicks of this and I can usually get them back to the starting position!

Anyways, thanks for the help!

InfO.

PS. Anyone else ship to PAC electronics? I'm going to try them, they are in Houlton, ME.

the cup holder area is agate. the sunglasses holder is mist gray (i think).. instead of ordering new ones you could go to a local junk yard and pull one. then you can bring your old parts to compare with the new parts so you get the proper color. plus its probly cheaper.

I agree. They usually let you browse the yard and you could find some other goodies that are in better shape than yours...

Unlikely to work out locally... last time I called around, not a single yard had a 2nd gen. I guess I could call outlaying areas, hour plus away.

I'm thankful for the higher entrance fee. It means less losers who will go and tear something apart and destroy it for silly reasons.

Entrance fee? Really? I would charge them a customer fee. Gosh, customer service has totally gone away!

I bought the sunglasses holder from them. It was in a sealed Mopar bag.

The price on the cupholder is outrageous. I bought a pass side, remote controll heated mirror ($28.00) and some other things from http://stores.ebay.com/Bill-Smith-Auto-Parts. Fast shipping and good price. Parts in great condition. There is a contact info on their site. They have lots of inventory that is not listed on e-bay site. Might call them and see.

I gotta disagree, just for the sake of doing it.

I've only been to one pick your own wrecking yard with an entrance fee and on my two visits there I saw lots of evidence of things being destroyed by people who were ripping their way into the parts they wanted. I saw two guys going for a Buick heater core with a crowbar, and assume it was just the heater core they were after because that's all they walked out with. The dash of the car was thrashed and hunks of it were in the engine bay when they were done with it.

The only dash bezel I saw that would have fit my Ram was broken in two, apparently because it was between an idiot and the instrument cluster he wanted.

I don't know, but I figured the entrance fee was so that we could all pay shares for the parts those idiots destroyed. Then again, it was in Vegas, the pathetic loser capital of North America.

I'd rather just pay a couple bucks more and deal with a dismantler. To each his own.
